Recent employment surveys of Grapevine indicate that the majority of the area's labor force is employed in three primary categories: Managerial/Professional, Sales and Office, and Services.  Due to a robust economy, unemployment rates for Grapevine have lowered to between % (2015) and % (2016) for the last two years.  This compares favorably to the Texas rates of % to % and the U.S. unemployment rates of % to % for the same years.
